Here is a list of our favorite activities that should not be missed while you are staying at our cottages in Asheville, NC. If possible, we recommend you plan each activity listed below for your Asheville getaway. If you are unable to fit it all in, no problem. Return soon and finish the list! Downtown Asheville
Asheville has one of the most unique downtowns in America. With over 300 restaurants, 4 museums, the first indoor mall in America and many street performers.
The Biltmore House
A visit to the Biltmore Estate is a joy at anytime of year. In the spring and summer they have flowers, in the fall they have beautiful leaves and in the winter they have Christmas lights.
Eat!
Being a foodie in Asheville is so much fun! Asheville allows you to enjoy a great meal on almost every corner.
Take a Hike
There are plenty of hiking trails near our Asheville NC cabin rentals. The closest to your cabin would be the NC Arboretum only a few miles away. If you are looking for waterfalls, Brevard (the land of waterfalls) is only 30 minutes away.
Visit a Spa
While visiting our Asheville cabins, you will want to take advantage of the spa services in western North Carolina. We have several companies that will come directly to your cabin for an in-room massage or there are plenty of spas you can visit.
Take a Drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway
The Blue Ridge Parkway is only a few minutes from our cabins. Taking a drive on the parkway is like driving back in time to experience a slower pace, more beautiful world. While you are on the parkway, don't forget to stop for lunch at Pisgah Inn Restaurant.
Slide Down Sliding Rock
Sliding Rock is a natural water slide in Brevard that ends in a very cold pool of water. It's cold but well worth the chill. It is located only 40 minutes from our vacation rental.
Go Whitewater Rafting
If you are visiting Asheville NC in the spring, summer or fall, you will want to make sure you plan for a whitewater rafting trip. The closest to our cabin our be Blue Heron Whitewater Company.
Tube the French Broad River
Floating down the French Broad river is an extremely relaxing activity that we highly recommend in the summer. You can go with a company like Zen Tubing that is only 3 miles from our rental cabins in Asheville NC.
Take a Tour
In each of our Asheville vacation rentals we have a welcome book that gives a list of things to do while you are in and around the mountains of Asheville. In addition to that list, you will want to make sure that you take at least one of the many tours that are offered in Asheville.
