Navitat
Navitat is one of the original zipline companies in Asheville. They have two different zipline experiences available to you they each take about a half day to complete. For a full day experience, you can combine both half day tours for a single day.
Navitat is one of the original ziplining companies in Asheville and is relatively close to the cabins. This is an incredible way to see the gorgeous, rolling Blue Ridge Mountains. We went a couple years back, and the whole family thoroughly enjoyed it.
LaZOOM Tours
Take the comedic route and see Asheville’s downtown by a hop off/hop on tour with an interactive guide. They have live music and actors on and outside the bus. A tour from this bus will keeping you laughing for hours. This is downtown so just a couple miles from the cabins.
Gray Line Trolley Tours
Asheville's most popular hop on/hop off sightseeing tour. Asheville's Gray Line Trolley Tours is one of America's best nostalgic trolley ride with a narrated tour highlighting homes and landmarks of this wonderful city. Southern Highland Craft Guild
The Folk Art Center is located on milepost 382 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. On display is the work of more than 200 members of the Southern Highland Craft Guild. The center's upper level also contains a museum. If crafts are of interest to you, a visit to the Folk Art Center is a must.
Smith-McDowell House Muesum
This house was built in 1840 and is the oldest standing house in Asheville and the oldest structure made of brick in Buncombe County, North Carolina. Most houses at this time were made of wood which makes this house all the more impressive. The house overlooks two rivers. Touring this historic house will give you a look back into the history of Asheville, NC and Buncombe County.
Historic Biltmore Village
Biltmore Village was built as a planned community for the people who worked on the Biltmore Estate. It was designed to be a community all to itself. If you stroll the historic streets today you can shop and dine in the same buildings that people did in the turn of the century. These days, in the Village, you can eat at some of the best restaurants in Asheville and shop at many contemporary independent shops as well as famous high-end retail chains.

Carl Sandburg Home
Carl Sandburg was a famous author and a poet in the twentieth century. Visitors are now able to the beauty and serenity of the Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site. Visitors are able to tour the Home, hike on over many miles of trails, play on the farm with the dairy goats, and more. Most people will spend about two hours at "Connemara." Before you visit, prepare for your comfort - wear comfortable shoes and clothes.

The Asheville Museum of Science or AMOS for short, is Asheville's home for science, discovery, and investigation. AMOS endeavors to spark your imagination and lifelong learning. Make sure you bring the kids as this museum is mainly geared toward the little ones.

Sliding Rock
Sliding Rock is a natural water slide in Brevard that ends in a very cold pool of water. You and your kids will not only love the slide itself, but you will also love watching others sliding from the observation deck. Sliding Rock is now operated by Pisgah Hospitality Partners. The area is open 365 days a year but is only staffed with lifeguards and open restrooms from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
