Cataloochee Ski Area

Cataloochee Ski Area is located about 45 minutes from Asheville. They usually provide the first opportunity for skiing in the area. They do this by having a state of the art of the new snow making system-the most advanced in the southern United States. Cataloochee makes snow on 18 slopes, including a terrain park, aerial lifts and moving carpet. You will not be disappointed by choosing to ski here.
